Yadier del Valle Earned His UFC Contract at DWCS

First Round Management client Yadier DelValle secured a dominant unanimous decision victory (30-27, 30-27, 30-26) over Antonio Monteiro on Dana White’s Contender Series.

Del Valle showcased an aggressive and relentless performance against Brazilian veteran Monteiro in the middle fight on Tuesday’s card. From the start, Del Valle pushed the pace, utilizing his full arsenal in pursuit of a finish. Towards the end of the first round, he adjusted his strategy, locking in a guillotine choke that nearly ended the fight, leaving Monteiro visibly shaken as he returned to his corner.

In the second round, the undefeated Cuban continued to press for the finish, unleashing a barrage of strikes and submission attempts, though Monteiro managed to survive. Monteiro had a stronger start in the third round, but a guillotine attempt allowed Del Valle to gain top position. From there, he controlled the fight, landing a series of strikes that opened up a cut on Monteiro, sealing his victory.
