Undefeated Heavyweight Knockout Sensation Robelis Despaigne Fights At UFC 299

Undefeated heavyweight knockout sensation Robelis Despaigne, a former Olympian managed by First Round Management, is making his much-anticipated UFC debut at UFC 299. Nicknamed “The Big Boy,” Despaigne initiated his professional MMA journey with a remarkable first-round knockout against Katuma Mulumba. In the following year, the Cuban athlete achieved three additional knockouts, each in a mere 19 seconds, while competing in Fury FC.

In late 2023, Despaigne inked a deal with the UFC following a spectacular 4-second knockout victory over Miles Banks. His promotional debut is slated for UFC 299 on March 9, where he will face off against the seasoned Josh Parisian. Parisian, a veteran of TUF and Dana White’s Contender Series, has experienced a 2-4 run in the UFC and is currently on a two-fight losing streak.
