Lone’er Kavanagh KO Wins Bonus at UFC 333
Lone'er Kavanagh is back in the win column in emphatic fashion. The British flyweight stopped Ramazan Temirov by TKO at 4:28 of the first round at UFC 333 on October 24, 2026, inside Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, and walked away with a $100,000 Performance of the Night bonus.
A Statement Win at the Right Time
Kavanagh entered UFC 333 needing a big performance. After cracking the flyweight top 10 with a main event win over former champion Brandon Moreno in Mexico City in February, he dropped a submission loss to Brandon Royval at UFC 329 in July. He returned just three months later on the main card in Abu Dhabi, against a dangerous opponent ranked 10th in the division.
Temirov arrived with plenty of momentum. The Uzbek finisher was unbeaten in the UFC and coming off a knockout of Steve Erceg. Oddsmakers saw the matchup as a near pick 'em, and the fight between the sixth and tenth ranked flyweights carried clear divisional stakes.
Too Fast, Too Sharp
Temirov had his moments early, but Kavanagh settled into range and began landing clean, accurate combinations. As the round went on, his hand speed and shot selection took over. Late in the opening frame, Kavanagh hurt Temirov and followed up with a barrage of punches until the referee stepped in at 4:28.
The finish was one of the standout moments of a card that featured two title fights. It also marked a stylistic statement from Kavanagh, who had earned most of his recent UFC wins on the scorecards.
$100,000 Performance of the Night
The UFC rewarded the finish with a $100,000 Performance of the Night bonus, shared on the night with featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski. It is the second Performance of the Night award of Kavanagh's UFC career, following the bonus he earned for his five round win over Brandon Moreno earlier this year.
Back on Track in the Flyweight Division
The win improves Kavanagh to 11-2 as a professional and gives him his fifth victory inside the Octagon. Fighting out of Great Britain Top Team in London, the 27 year old earned his UFC contract through Dana White's Contender Series and has spent less than two years climbing into the flyweight rankings. A first round stoppage of a ranked opponent on a UFC 333 main card headlined by two title fights puts him firmly back in the conversation among the division's top contenders.
