We’re beyond excited to officially welcome one of the most talented young defenders in the country, Rhia Mahon (Instagram: @rhia.mahon) to the family!

Ranked among the top defenders in the 2026 class, Rhia brings a rare combination of elite soccer IQ, speed, and composure that set her apart at every level.

A U.S. U17 Youth National Team defender and USC commit, Rhia captained Solar SC 08 to the 2022 ECNL National Championship and earned 2025 ECNL Girls Texas All-Conference honors. She’s also secured her spot on the 2025 CONCACAF U17 Qualifying roster and trained with NWSL teams, highlighting that she thrives at the highest levels and brings unmatched leadership, tactical intelligence, and versatility.

With her skill, athleticism, and relentless drive, Rhia commands the backline with confidence and professionalism well beyond her years and is poised to be a cornerstone at USC and beyond.

This is just the beginning of an incredible journey, and we couldn’t be more excited to support her as she continues to grow and make her mark on the future of women’s soccer.
