Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic will headline UFC 309 in NY City

The long-awaited title fight between UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic is officially set as the headliner for UFC 309, taking place on Nov. 16 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The main event will see Jones defending his UFC heavyweight title for the first time since his dominant victory over Ciryl Gane in March 2023, where he claimed the belt. Originally, Jones was slated to fight Miocic later that same year, but a torn pectoral muscle forced him to withdraw from competition. Now, almost exactly a year later, Jones is back and aiming to defeat Miocic, widely regarded as one of the greatest heavyweights in UFC history.

Also featured on the card is undefeated middleweight prospect Bo Nickal, who faces his toughest challenge yet in a bout against Paul Craig.
