Torrez Finney back at Dana White’s Contender Series (updated)

Update: Torrez Finney won the fight by unanimous decision but was not awarded a contract.

Last week, a new season of Dana White’s Contender Series kicked off, bringing weekly fight nights to the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Here, competitors battle for a coveted UFC contract.

Tonight, five fights are on the card, with the second bout featuring First Round Management client Torrez Finney, who is fighting for his shot at the UFC against Cam Rowston.

In the previous season, Finney submitted Yuri Panferov but didn’t secure a contract, as Dana White felt he needed more experience. Now, Torrez is back, determined to prove himself and earn that contract by showcasing the progress he’s made.
